BioMicrobics conducts a great deal of third-party testing to ensure the effectiveness of its equipment and assist clients in obtaining the necessary approvals. For this, the company not only collaborates with third-party testing organizations but also with universities to showcase the functionality of its equipment. For instance, it partnered with the University of Miami and the National Science Foundation on a project called Net Zero Water. BioMicrobics equipped them with one of its membrane bioreactors to efficiently treat and reuse wastewater in dormitory apartments. This project was even featured in a film produced by the National Science Foundation. The company has also received a technology award from a renowned winery in California. Utilizing BioMicrobis’ solutions, they were able to treat and reuse 1.3 gallons of water in the first year alone.
